A beautiful Edinburgh City Chambers Wedding


Emma & George were one of the first couples to book with me when I started as a wedding photographer, and I'm so glad they did! I had done a few shoots with Emma already for her Hen Night and a Boudoir shoot so she was already very relaxed with me and knew me quite well by the time their wedding came around. For their wedding day they wanted someone who wasn’t overly posey and could capture their day with a documentary approach. This was perfect for me as that is my main goal!

Edinburgh City Chambers is one of my favourite venues. I am a huge fan of shooting in Edinburgh City Centre. And there isn't many more iconic city centre locations than in and around the royal mile!

The day started off with a very chilled bridal prep in West lothian, with Sabaa Khan from SK Make up studios who took care of the bride and her bridesmaids. We spent the beautifully sunny morning having a good laugh while I absolutely obsessed over Emma's dress. SO SPARKLY!!!

Meanwhile my second shooter Kim met George and his team at City chambers to catch some photos of them before the Ceremony!

Edinburgh Wedding Photographer


After the ceremony and some family/Bridal party photos outside, George, Emma & myself went for a wander through Edinburgh city centre to get some couple shots of the 2 of them. We started off outside city chambers with their wedding car by AK Limos before moving on to the parliament square. The arches here give off some beautiful light for couple portraits. We then got some shots on the busy royal mile before moving on to the iconic Riddles Court. The Edinburgh City Centre is THE BEST for couples portraits. I grew up in Edinburgh so I know all the good spots!
